- Impaction: food or debris can sometimes get stuck between your dental implant and natural teeth.
- Crowding: If your implant is installed too close to your other teeth it can cause pressure on the real teeth that makes it seem as though the implant is the one that’s sensitive.
- Tissue or nerve damage: This can occur during the implant process and while it usually heals, it is still possible that it may be permanent.
